Siri won't call phone number

I already reported this to Apple (I don't know whether that makes a difference, but I figured might as well). I cannot get Siri to call a phone number by saying the phone number; Siri replies that it can't find that person in my Contacts.

I've tried restarting my iPhone and saying the number with a "1" in front of it. I use Siri to dial with this a lot, and I'm almost positive it was working right last week. Anyone have similar issues?

Yes, having the exact same problem.  Just happened.  I was making calls using Siri earlier today and now I get the same message.

I'm having the same issue. Need to call numbers all day for work and it mostly replies saying the same thing.

very annoying, seems to only happen now that I have iOS 10.0.2

didnt happen on the earlier beta

This has been happening to me for a day or so — but I found a workaround. If I say "Siri, dial the number 800-555-1234," it works.

For the record, I am currently on 10.0.2. I plan on upgrading to 10.1 tonight to see if that solves the issue.

The issue persists for me even after updating to iOS 10.1.

Update: Tried it this morning, and dialing a number with Siri works for me.

Doesn't work on my iPhone 6s, but works fine on my iPhone 7 Plus. Hmm
