Apple on Monday issued a third developer betas of iOS 10.2, macOS 10.12.2, and tvOS 10.1, as well as a second beta of Xcode 8.2.

For registered developers, the iOS 10.2 update -- build 14C5077b -- can be installed over-the-air on devices that already have the previous beta installed. People needing the software for the first time must follow steps at Apple's developer portal.

For many the obvious changes in iOS 10.2 may be its emoji -- which include redrawn images and 72 new characters, conforming to Unicode 9.0 -- plus a dedicated "TV" app. There's also three new wallpapers for iPhone 7 owners, a widget for the Videos app, a "Celebration" effect in Messages, and more.

Perhaps one of the more important additions in both iOS 10.2 and tvOS 10.1 is single sign-on support for streaming TV, allowing people subscribed to cable or online-only services to access channels across multiple apps without constantly re-authenticating.

The macOS Sierra update is build 16C48b, which developers can download through Apple's website or the Mac App Store. macOS 10.12.2 will upgrade Sierra's emoji set in addition to fixing bugs and performance problems.

Emergency SOS seems to be a new feature. Hit the sleep/wake button 5 times, and an SOS call occurs.

Does this version have the Video app replaced by the TV app? I read a story last night that this may be the case.
