Of course the gateway commercial doesn't show this while its jumping over the iMac





F***'n gateway...and it seems the iMac is PC Magazine's Editors' Choice...i wish apple would/could produce some competative commercials

    Singling out one PC maker in an add is stupid (unless of course it's DELL )



    Apple's enemy isn't Gateway. Their every is every PC maker. Why waste your time getting even with a withered, burnt-out company that few people buy from? Apple has bigger fish to fry. They should be highlighting the advantages of the Mac platform over Windows rather than getting into an ad war with a small competitor.



    The switch ads are effective because they go after the company everyone loves to hate, Microsoft. No one cares if Apple stands up and says bad things M$. In fact, most people applaud it since Microsoft is extremely evil If Apple goes out of its way to pick on a dying brand like Gateway however, they're just being jerks and should be scolded.



    Yes, Gateway sucks, but there's no need for Apple to rub it in. Leave that to PC Magazine.

    yeah, and i thought about this...although that really bothered me (almost as if false advertising), but gateway was trying to say its profile 4 was better then the iMac in everyway.



    I know apple shouldn't REALLY go after gateway, but that commercial makes me furious, and an attack like that against apple without a response makes me feel kinda like apple is a pussy company. Unless of course they have somethign crazy cool in the works that will show up everyone (which i'm sure they do, just for the time being if feel like apple just letting people deface their stuff)
