What is IPC?

I hear CPU gear heads refering to "IPC". What is it?



I also see IPC referred to in my "Aquaman" stats app. Same thing?

    It also stands for interprocess communication.

    Interprocess Communication. This includes such nices things like: shared memory, message qeues, named pipes.
