I'd be surprised if anyone likes any search engine better than google.

    The Screensavers did a google-rival <a href="http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/twistedlist/story/0,24330,3343385,00.html"; target="_blank">list not long ago though...

    Google is the best. Small adds, great results, caching and all that. The best is <a href="http://www.googlefight.com"; target="_blank">Google Fights.

    BTW, every try searching for stoned chicks?

    <a href="http://www.dogpile.com/"; target="_blank">Dogpile is a search engine that searches all the other search engines for you. Check it out, it's pretty cool. I still find that I end up using Google the most however.

    Google is very nice, I always use it. However, the second best search engine I've used is <a href="http://www.alltheweb.com."; target="_blank">www.alltheweb.com. The net search isn't as good as Google's, but the image search is better, finding more pictures, higher resolution pictures, and fewer dead links. Either way, I've noticed that no image search engine is very good. I just searched Sherlock for images matching "iBook" and I got three results, two of which are the same picture. By the way, I got those EXACT SAME results about two months ago last time I tried searching "iBook" through Sherlock.

    Google is my best friend.

    Searching in Italian only, many use <a href="http://arianna.libero.it"; target="_blank">http://arianna.libero.it; but it's not as good as google.

    In Spanish only a google-joint site <a href="http://www.ubbi.com"; target="_blank">http://www.ubbi.com; is quite nice. But still i google more...

    Just google..

    In alternative, here are some more but i'm lazy to find anything else right now: <a href="http://cui.unige.ch/meta-index.html"; target="_blank">http://cui.unige.ch/meta-index.html;

    May not be the best overall, but <a href="http://www.teoma.com"; target="_blank">Teoma.com is great when it comes to reference searches.

    Other than that, it's Google all the way for me.

    Why not just do a google search for 'best search site'?

    Hello everyone, try kartoo.com

    Google is still the finest "mainstream" search engine out there. Kartoo (the Flash version...) offers a uniquely different way of accessing info on the web.

    It reminds me somewhat of David Gelernter's ideas of computer file management.
