I have a lot of fonts (Apollo, Arial, etc) that have the letters "MT" at the end of the name (i.e.; "ArialMT")...what does MT stand for? MM is Mutiple Master, but MT???
Monotype. I think it might be a font foundry or company. I have lots too.
Bitstream (another popular font company) adds a "BT" suffix at the end of their font packages, so I'm thinking it's the same sort of thing.

Select the icon of the typeface in question and do a "Get Info" on it. It should say something like "Monotype Corporation". Or something close to that.
