My wife wants one of these printer/scanner/copier things. I have been looking around and I think I like the <a href="http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1697030150.1044520 856@@@@&BV_EngineID=hadcggeigdkfbfdmcfjgckidnk.0&o id=24875246" target="_blank">Epson Stylus CX5200</a>. What do you think?

I've never used one, but I was looking at perhaps asking for an HP scanner/printer/copier for my birthday. I don't what it is about Epson, but I never had much success with their printers in the past. I've gone HP and didn't look back -- the one I have now (970Cse) works wonderfully (black ink lasts a very, very long time) and that leads me to look at the HP multifunction devices before Epson's, despite Epson's "archival" capability -- I still don't print that many digital photos out.

are you running os X?? from epson site:

    [quote] Operating Systems

    Windows USB - Windows 98, Me, 2000 or XP; Macintosh USB - Macintosh System 8.5.1 - 9.x <hr></blockquote>

i'm sure they will have a driver soon, but this would direct me to the HP that already works in os X....
