How do you make a background picture in HTML not repeat? is there a way?

Er, don't make it an animated .gif in the first place? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

whhhaaaa? no, i dont mean that, i mean like if the picture is 600x800, it tiles the picture, and i dont wnat it to do that, is there a way?
jw cuz i'm at school as a quick fix, i'll make a page 2night and do it and bring it in cuz frontpage sucks and we ran into a problem

whhhaaaa? no, i dont mean that, i mean like if the picture is 600x800, it tiles the picture, and i dont wnat it to do that, is there a way?
