Sorry , but is it possible to have the previous police, i find the new police much harder to read.

Considering that people can have a different opinions , shall we vote ?

or is it just a test ?

    Ah M. Powerdoc...

    You beat me to it.

I have temporarily changed the primary font face from Verdana to Lucida Grande now that all OS X browsers smooth it with Quartz AA...

I was going to ask public opinion of it but you have beaten me to it.

    SO... Lucida or Geneva?

Heh. I actually meant 'verdana' not Geneva.

I've been twiddling with other little details of the board as well...

    are they acceptable?

 this is horrible! I turned off the Quartz crap in IE because it looks bad, and this is just disgusting. Jon, change it back ASAP!

    I'm not sure, T.I.

Perhaps Police Font means 'Wacky Frenchman?'

FWIW, I like Lucida much better. I say take advantage of new technologies like proper font antialiasing.

Jon, hows about you start a thread in General Discussion asking opinions on it?

A font is the equivalent of a police.

There is a folder named Font in os X, perhaps it's my creation ?

I like it the way it is now...even when I venture into OS 9...I use SmoothType 'cause OS 9's font smoothing SUCKS, so it doesn't look much different than from OS X.

One thing though...with or without SmoothType font smoothing in OS 9 there are little spaces between the _'s in the bar that seperates the post from the sig. Maybe you could use verdana JUST for that?

P.S...haven't tried OS X, dunno what it looks like there yet.

i vote for the current font, since it is much easier to read, especially in posts that are longer than 2 sentences cuz the spacing is better.

(sorry but we old people in our 20s dont have as good eyesight as the high school-ers. )
