religious thread locking

I know we have new moderators . . . but I don't understand all of the thread locking going on.



These threads are busy because people want to talk about these issues.



Maybe one or two people start two line threads that are insulting to some or are patronizing but that's the risk we take . . . what's teh point of locking these threads?



I suggest they are unlocked right away.
