I agree with this..either threads start there and die or start somewhere else, get shunted there and die.

It's so small it should really be consolidated with sorta-small Current Hardware.

I guess it's up to me to save the Digital Hub forum!

I don't think people don't need to hear my thoughts on why I think we need a Digital Hub forum yet again.

I still think it's good to keep discussion about the iPod, Palms, Printers, peripherals, and other MP3 players and handhelds in a seperate forum. Current Hardware is supposed to deal with 'Current' Macs and I think it's a good idea to keep it that way.

Yes, there isn't as much discussion about the iPod as there used to be, nor are there a ton of questions about printers. But all it would take is another Apple 'digital device' to rejuvenate it.

Discuss all you want, but I like the Digital Hub and believe that it's fine the way it is.

Hows about keeping permanent threads in digital hub eg. "Printer Q&A" , "Scanner Q&A" , "Digital Video Q&A" , "DVD Q&A" ,"Digital Camera Q&A" ......you get the idea.

Would tidy it up nicely and make it easier to find the info you need

I second Fran's positive assessment of Digital Hub. DH made sense when the admins created it and it still does. Keep DH!

I can see the need for the forum, but whenever I want to post a topic that would go in there, I just know it'll be forever and a day before anyone reads it. It makes me not want to post in there since it's so infrequently travelled. :/ I guess there's not really a good solution, except Apple getting that PDA out the door.

    I enjoy Digital Hub.

It was created with the idea that future digital hub items will come...

I still am holding out hope.

Perhaps we should make iApp talk go in there as well?

Also, I think i'm going to rearrange the forums a bit, so as to move it between CH and SW...

It's a good forum, the people in there are tops...

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> Yes it does. I don't even have a space at the top where ads are supposed to be.

Jonathan: I see you went ahead with that idea. Makes sense. To be consistent you should (explicitly) move discussion regading .Mac to DH (from Software) as well.

Well, I'm hesitant to do that, seeing as .Mac really doesn't directly integrate with the hardware side of the iApps as of yet... iChat threads are still in software (i think)...

Yeah, i went ahead and did it when Amorph and Fran gave the green light. Let the traffic commence!
