vbb transition scheduling

Okay, so about half an hour ago I hit "Add Reply" to see a message saying "FYI: we are now transitioning to vbb" (or words to that effect). Five minutes later everything was working as normal, still under ubb...



Now, I'm not bitching, as I realise this is a long-running undertaking, but could we have a message saying "You are likely to experience freaky stuff for the next x hours" when the Great Switchover (TM) is implemented. Or even just (whisper it) take AI down for a day?

    It's in beta! vbb is no longer vapourware. I've seen screenshots, dammit!



    Now it's mere RSN-ware...

    It's real enough. They could leave it the default, ugly vB with a few color modifications and piss a lot of you off, or make it extremely good looking and take a while doing it.



    I'm all for the latter...though UBB is really getting on my nerves.

    Anyhow, don't be surprised if some accounts get gobbled up and disappear in the transition. UBB has already been acting pretty funky lately.

    vB is not doing member imports properly.



    UBBs member database is now corrupted.
