Add ALERT system to AI
I know that was really tweaking a lot of people back when Jaimie was a new mod, shutting down threads willy-nilly, but sometimes it DOES get bad around here with people posting into wrong forums.
It's kind of bad right now with a LOT of people posting questions that SHOULD be posted in the Genius Bar in every forum BUT that one.
It made me think that at times of high counts of sloppy postings, the mods might add a little notice at the top of every forum's thread listing alerting members to be aware of where they're posting their content. This would have to go hand in hand with a smack-down of thread lockings. A sort of "terror alert" combined with a lot of State Trooper speeding tickets.
Anyway, it was just an idea.
I feel all better now.
