iPod 5GB 'momentarily' out of stock

I was just about to buy one for a friend... so obviously, its out of stock. Now I'm in a dilemma. Do I buy the 10GB (in stock) or do I wait a week (but his wedding is next weekend)?

    Well, the 5 GB has been "temporarily out of stock" for quite a while now, so I wouldn't expect it to be available anytime soon. Go buy the 10GB.

    Do you think my order will get updated to a new gen iPod in case that happens?

    No idea on the iPod update. The 5 gigger hasn't been available since Christmas.

    I'm wanting to sell it for $250 + shipping. If no one's interested, I'll probably put it on eBay monday.
