Airport w/ OSX and OS9

I have a graphite Airport w/ dial-up to ISP + network or one OSX and 2 OS9 computers.

Seem to have unknown 3rd party using my base station to access www from time-to-time, so want to use the "Access Control" tab of Airport Admin to list my 3 computers, thereby shutting -- I hope -- them out.

But how do I determine "Airport ID" of the Bondi iMac hard-wired to the base station (no Airport software to open...)?????

Not that anyone (apparently) cares: but FYI I found that the hardware ID can be found (in OS9) in the System Profiler/Network overview/Appletalk section.

    But thanks, uh, anyway.

Where do you live? I use my neighbor's cable modem sometimes. 8)

Can't you use encryption? That would stop people from drive-by hacking your network.

    Just wondering.
