Favorite tech Brands?

I tend to look at the brand before I consider any purchase. Here are my favorites:

Apple

Philips

Sony

Epson

Before I buy anything, I'm curious to know if my top 4 makes a competing product. Anyone else have faves?

Apple and Sony - that's about all. I don't usually buy the sony stuff, but I like to see what they've got.

For some reason, I don't trust Sony. Not that the products are bad, I just don't trust large corporations. ATi is getting pretty big. Might have to start cheering for nVidia.

Sony used to make nice stuff, but they just rely on their name now. I know I'm not the only person to have more than 1 problem with Sony hardware.

    Why are people loyal

Oh, I forgot about Nintendo. I've bought every model since SNES. Not for me, of course.

Apple- got to love my iBook- old 500 DVD and its still working like a charm!

Canon- got an S200 elph- I love it- its small and takes great pics!

Nintendo- they make the best games, Zelda is great, just got a Game Boy Advanced SP- love it, Metroid is great too! The Game Cube is a great system!

Wacom- My 6 x 8 tablet is sweet- I love it!

Griffin- they make very cool Macessories. Got to love the iCurve and iTrip!

Macromedia- they're software is the greatest! They also have a style that nobody can beat.

LaCie- I love my new D2 52X burner! The case design is great too!

I don't know who I would pick for home entertainment stuff. I think Phillips makes some cool plasma tv's, bose makes some cool speakers, B.O. stuff is sweet but way over priced, and Sony had some cool designs and good prices. I don't know- I guess its all over the board on this one.

VW is my favorite car company! I just got a Jetta and I luuuuuuuuuuuv it.
