Universal Access Zoom bug

Hi

I think i found a bug.. :-)

1.Turn on Zoom (universal access, or cmd+option+*)

2. Zoom in (cmd+option++)

3. Take a selection screenshot (cmd+shift+4)

4. View your screnshot. It is not what you have selected.

Can anyone confirm?

thanks

    This may seem stupid, but after my friend tinkered with my settings I can't get it so that I can step forward and backward bit by bit. I can step forward bit by bit but hitting the Zoom out zooms out all the way. I can't get it to to both step by step, just Zooming in or out step by step. How can I? I think this is one of the coolest underrated Jaguar features. Try it with the iTunes visualizer! Good stuff.

    Did you change the Minimum/maximum zoom options?

    There seems to be a bug where if you tinker with the zoom settings, you can then get it to step only 1 way as Apple disallows the sliders for min/max zoom to cross. You can get it to step both ways again by editting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.universalaccess.plist and changing the values there. I have closeViewFarPoint set to 20 and closeViewNearPoint set to 1.

    I hope they fix the screen capture bug. This would be extremely useful for CG research (take zoomed in screen cap of rendered scene easily to demonstrate some point or algorithm in a paper).
