iPhoto and printing

When I print a photo from iPhoto, its at 72 dpi. A friend of mine with Photoshop could increase the dpi to 300 so it looked like a real photograph. I can't figure out how to increase the dpi in iPhoto.



If iPhoto can't do this, what would you suggest? Would Photoshop Essentials do it...is this like PHotoshop lite?
