(cheap) dialup internet access

hey guys, we just moved from Chicago to New York and want to "donate" our old clamshell iBook to my mother in law (still in Chicago)... Do you have any experience/suggestions for a cheap (dialup) internet provider? They should be reliable, of course and it should work with a mac (maybe they provide mac support?)...

    I liked EarthLink when I had them for dial-up ($21.95/month).
