downloading mp3s with sites that use php?

i'm using IE, safari doesn't work on the site.



when i try to download the file, it opens a new window and downloads but then i have to save the file as quicktime, but them i'm unable to listen because the file is missing something



i've check my helper apps, all seem fine.



how can i downlad these directly to my HD so that iTunes will recognize them



sorry if this is inappropriate for here but i can't find any info on the web

    From what you said, I think all you need to do is change the extension from php to mp3. If it asks you if you're sure you want to change it, say yes.
