What the heck?
I went to the Network control panel and I got a message saying that a new Network Port was present (en1).
Going into Apple System Profiler tells me they both have the same MAC address as well.
Very odd.
Any suggestions?

Deleting your cache in case of trouble like that.

My OS X Server 10.2.5 beige G3 box "grew" and extra port too. It's weird. Just noticed it.
It has a 10 Mb port OEM ("Built-In Ethernet")
I added a PCI 10/100 Asante NIC ("PCI Ethernet Slot 3")
Now it thinks it has another! ("Ethernet Adaptor (en2)")???
Clearing the cache now...
EDIT: Nope, still there...

I selected the new port and deleted it. Its greyed out, but still there.
I then used Cocktail to clear out cache, etc... still greyed out.
