New iPods and older USB?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I'm waiting for the new 15" PowerBooks to come out, so right now I only have a Windows PC. Will the new iPods work with an older USB port that is not USB 2.0? I would connect this to my notebook which is like 3+ years old so I'm pretty sure it isn't USB 2.

    From what I understand, it would work but at USB 1 speeds... I'm not sure if the USB cable is bundled in, or if it will be released in June.

    i suppose it's techinically possible... not that i would recommend even trying... that's gonna be one hell of a wait.
