No new information here. I find it odd Ericsson is engaging publishing rumors.

I haven't see this in any recent posts so forgive me if it's already been covered.

Apple Computer CEO Steve Jobs previously showed little interest in the PAN concept. But at the recent Macworld Expo, Mr. Jobs wowed Macintosh fans by introducing iSync software, which lets Macs communicate with Palm PDAs, cellphones, PCs and other Macs using Bluetooth.

In particular, iSync is designed to take advantage of 3G mobile phones, allowing users to keep their phone books synchronized with a Mac's address book. Many Mac observers predict that Mr. Jobs will use Bluetooth as the primary connection for an upcoming Apple-branded PDA-mobile phone combination, tentatively dubbed iPhone.

Well, here's what we can found in a french publication (Science & avenir):

    here's the news where it's talked about:<a href="http://www.macbidouille.com/niouzcontenu.php?date=2002-09-23#3481"; target="_blank">Macbidouille</a>

    here's a translation:

    "Beautiful as an apple!

PDA coupled with a mobile phone, neat and stamped with the Apple logo... It's the iPhone, revealed at the Paris AE by Steeve Jobs..."

When even serious papers gets into rumors things, we can start to ask ourselves in what measure the Apple absolute secret policy is not encouraging the whole process.

Beautiful as a gnarled, half-rotten apple fallen from a twisted tree in a debris-strewn wasteland, that is.

Some images should never leave Photoshop.
