grabbed one of these at compusa the other day and now i wonder how i ever lived without one...the zip is dead (yes i know that happened awhile ago, but i never saw cd burning as replacing re-usable devices), cd burning for files is dead...long live the usb flash device...

this thing is the size of my pinkie, holds a ton of files and is plug and play without any other parts (unlike floppys and such)....it is amazing, but one thing...usb is kinda slow...could these be made as firewire devices??? that would rock and i would be throwing this to a friend and would upgrade....

dang, technology is changing fast these days....smaller, faster,

How much difference does Firewire make to a Compact Flash drive? I'd assume CF doesn't quite go all the way to 400MB/s.
