I am using verizon with a v60c from Moto (it seems they are good at something)

no real mac integration... but with the help of a $20 cable, I can use it to go online with my lappy for the simple cost of a regular phone call...

sweet. how much of a pain in the ass was it to actually get it to work?

i currently have a pismo and would like to have that functionality.

i've got to go find out more about the Cingulair / Mac relationship to see if it really makes a compelling offer.

after one failed attempt, i got frustrated and didn't use it for a while.... the second time i tried it it worked... you have to make sure you have a signal (not roaming) and that you always disconnect, if you don't there will be a kernel panic... also you will sometimes have to kill the ppd command from the terminal as it gets stuck disconnecting, im not sure if this is a X bug or a driver bug... but it isn't hard to fix... after 1 round trip train rides between school and home I got it down pretty good.

    Any update on this?

I have a Nokia phone, and they have no software to act as a modem for a Mac. Who is the best for this?

What kind of connection speeds do you get?

    Thanks,
