NVIDIA cheating on its benchmarks.
Eek. It's NVIDIA's turn. You'd think they'd have learned from ATI's blunder with "Quack" 3.

The official excuse for this incredible 3DMark03 is drivers problems, the good answers is they cheat. : http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1086025,00.asp
Their trick is built on the fact that in demo, the camera follow a predertemined line, at the contrary of real game where the player control the camera. : in french http://www.hardware.fr/news/imprimer/5776/
The result is over optimistic results contrary to ATI : http://www.hardware.fr/html/news/ where the result differ only a little. Futuremark realised a patch to disable such enhancing and have a more real result.
For those who don't believe such enhancements in drivers exist, i should suggest them to see the level of their own demo, compared to what this card can really perform in today games.
Nvidia Response
Now they are perpetuating FUD about Futuremark being an ATi propaganda tool. They won't pay the fees so they can optimize their product for it, so that makes all-out cheating in it OK??? WTF???
Barto
Hopefully the next round of tower updates (already overdue) should change that.
