Uplink - a really nice game worth checking out

Ambrosia Software has released Uplink a hacking simulator set in the year 2010. You are a free-agent hacker who must break into systems, steal data, modify school records, etc.....and then erase all traces of your activities.

At first, I went insane with frustration as I faced the learning curve. (The tutorial is nice, but it leaves you on your own quickly)

Then, once I got the hang of things I realized just how utterly fantastic it is. I started playing at 9pm and now, 2 hours later I've already recieved my license code from Ambrosia. This is a new record for me!

I'd try playing it if I could get it. I've downloaded it twice, and each time the .sit archive unstuffs, there's nothing but a web link file and a folder of .dat files. No application.

Am I not l337 enough to understand that that's part of the game or something?

There should be a file named 'Uplink' in the top level of the 'Uplink' folder.

Are you using the latest version of Stuffit?
