Yes its that time of the year. For the next week you are all to scrutinize every single post I make and correct even the smallest minimal spelling and grammatical error I make.

Please don´t correct me in the thread you find my post but transfer it to this one.

    - Never start a sentence with a preposition.

    - Choose one of the "I make" phrases; together they are redundant.

    - "smallest minimal" is redundant.

    - "spelling or grammatical" not "spelling and grammatical"

But perhaps correcting my english, represant too much work ...

A four minute wait for corrections seems a bit tardy.

English in the thread title should be capitalized. It is a proper noun.

You are right , i tend to forget that excepting boats (an old english tradition), inanimates objects are designed by it rather than he or she.

    write :

    Buy a mac, it's a nice computer

    rather than :

buy a mac, she is a nice computer (but this lattest version is more sexy ... )

Remembering the correct gender always used to trouble us English school boy types when learning Powerdocs belle langue, German I believe is even harder because of a third gender, neuter.

Ooh I've found one, quite fresh too. The correct word is "you're", meaning you are. Do I win a prize?
