A bit OT, but it involves Macs... I copied some files from my parent's Mac (Mac OS 8.6) to my PC (Windows 2000) using my 12" PowerBook as a bridge. Now I have undeletable files on my PC, some of which are highlit red when they are dragged. Normally this method of copying works fine. CHKDSK reports no errors (but I suspect that it isn't very thorough)
