The pessimistic HW thread about WWDC

To not take the chance of totally being flattened of what or what is not released at WWDC, here are my pessimistic predictions



Dual 1.75 Ghz G4 - $2999.99

Dual 1.42 GHz G4 - $2199.99

Single 1.25 Ghz G4 - $1599



Or perhaps Steve will unveil that Smeagol is really system 6.0.3 and that running fast 68000s Macs are hip?

    1.75 GHz G4s is being pessmistic? Last time I looked, Apple was having a hard enough time getting the 1.42 GHz G4s out the door.

    the top of the line PM is withdrawn because moto can no longer make chips that fast...top of the line PM is now the 1.25 G4

    I'll go you one better: new case design, alright: two choices: Flower Power Deluxe or Strawberry Disco Prism. Steve says it ties in with the whole iTunes Music Store thing.

    No, no, see, all the other models go back to 500Mhz chips. Moto still has large amounts of the original 7400 that they need to get rid of.
