hard drive master/slave questions...

I bought a dual FW HD enclosure and I have 2 HDs I want to put into it... do I need to set the jumpers on one of the drives to a slave and if so how do I do this? there are no diagrams on the drive that I want to make a slave...

anyone have any ideas?

    most hard drive manufacturers will have such documentation on their websites.



    oh, also check the docs for the enclosure. they may want you to use a "cable select" arrangement rather than master/slave.
