Micro$oft Kills off Internet Explorer for Mac
It's official.
Internet Explorer is finished as far as any future Mac version goes.
Some updates for current version but no Version 6.
Microsoft blames Safari... blah blah...

Released in just the last few hours.
Also did a quick persusal of threads & posts in both OS-X & Software OK..& couldn't see any direct reference to this story.

Whatcha gonna do, big man?
Last time I checked, if threads were for every single Mac story on the web, the forum server would implode to form a small black hole.
That's why threads are created by topic.

Anyways I don't lament IE going. I'm barely using it on my PC's. The Browser 5 yrs ago was thought to be a Software/Service Platform unto itself. That sadly is not the case. Microsoft reached critical mass and advancements died off. viva la Safari and Firebird! I believe the reliance on Microsoft Products will be diminishing over the years. I fondly remember the days when the computer industry was comprised of multitudes of companies each with their own philosphy on how it should be done. I long for that excitement to come back.
