.ace files

I recently downloaded a large file that is .ace format. I assume that it is a similar compression to a zip or rar file. Does anyone know of any programs I can use to extract the files on a Mac? Stuff it doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

There's a bundle of terminal apps for OSX including an unAce prog.... which did not work for me, but maybe might for you
