Panther Help

By far the worst thing in OS X is the help. Slow and unhelpful. What could be worse than that? I hope they update the help. This new fast searching stuff? That should make it in. Mostly Apple needs to get its people to write help pages and think about the (I don't know what you would call it?) help-flow.

If you read my posts starting at page 3 in the sticky, you'll see that Help Viewer is indeed MUCH faster.

Also worth noting: there are more Assistants spread around the system to help beginners, such as a Network Assistant. These aren't intrusive like Windows' "wizzards" and only come out when you click something asking for help (can't remember the button's exact text). They work very nicely and you can tell that Apple's writing staff is finally getting to work.
