Forcing an application to start in classic. How?
Strange question I know. I work in 10.2.5 but I want to start some apps. (indesign etc) in classic as the printer driver for my laser printer (brother 1250) is unbeleivable chronic in X. I have all the latest updates.
The trouble is that clicking on an app that can open in X or 9 invariably opens in X and I can't find a way to make it force it to start classic and run. I could go back into 9 but would prefer not to..kinda hooked to Ten now.
Running Jag and 9.2.? Indesign 2.0.2
Mucho thanks in advance

Do a Get Info on the app. If you see a check box that reads "Open in the Classic environment". Check it. That should do it.
Hope that helps.

This isn't true of all apps and I don't have Indesign, but Adobe Photoshop has a setting in Get Info for this. It's worth a try.
