Windows SP4

OK calm down everyone calm down! It just came out and all I want to know is: does it make VPC 6.01 with Win2k faster or slower? I don't care about EULA/DRM stuff or anything else and Win2k hasn't crashed yet while I keep freezing and unfreezing it. But I heard SP3 slows down Win2k in VPC 6 big time. I have Win2k Sp2 and it's ok but any more speed would be welcome. Anyone played with this yet?

I know SP3 sucked. It slowed down all of the machines I put it on to the point that they were almost unusable. If SP4 includes SP3, I'd hesitate. Or I'd make a copy of the image and test it.

OK since Blaster and all this, and now my VPC finally connecting to the Internet, I need to know. Does SP4 make Windows 2000 slower then SP2? Can someone try it or have tried?

    YES!!!

With every service pack you add more bulk to windows.

But, it is good to update...

Well how much slower? If it's a LOT slower then it's worth it to risk it but I really don't want Blaster or whatever on my VPC, and I also don't want any anti-virus crap.

    Aquatic,

From SP2 to SP3 was a nightmare. Even if SP4 is 10% faster than SP3, it's still a hell of a lot slower than SP2. Nightmare.
