1) Anything non-American. (Canadian Beer Rocks)
2) CC, GM, or (if I had a bad day) Vodka.

Hard: well, i aint too keen on harder drinks, but i've had some bacardi 141 limon that was pretty nice.
Mixed drink: again, i'm more of a beer man, but a screwdriver is ok sometimes.
Shot: its phyn to drop a few southern comforts (i suggest with a twist of lime).
*: i dunno the fancy name for it, but u pop ur bottle of beer open, then blow a lung or two of cannabis-smoke in it, making sure to keep it covered while not drinking. makes for a delightfully tasteful, and inibriating time (like smoking the same hit twice!).

Actually, the french make the most horrible mixed drinks/cocktails. At least in Paris they do - I haven't found one place where I can have even a decent G&T. You want a great cocktail? Head to Milan, where (quite frankly) everything's better: the aperittivi, the drinks and, most importantly, the people who serve them.
