Mac OSX Server

Hi all,

I need to set up an OSX server in an all windows environment and I never set up a server before. Reason we picked mac server in this all win office is because we may transition to all macs if this server works out well.

My question is do you have any sites that can aid in any part of the setup for the server? I can't even get it to recognize a network card (mac compatible) that I installed in order to give out the IP addresses.

Built-In Samba functionalities in OS X Server should work great if you set them up correctly, if you have an option as to what OS the windows machines are running I would suggest Windows 2000.

I really think panther server should ship with a feature that has a list of MACaddresses in one column a way to assign those addresses to groups and specify image and a HUGE, I mean HUGE button that says "DEPLOY" this would make things easy...

    (just a thought)
