Problem with OS X Mail!!!

When I click add sender and look in my address book, it adds the sender to my address book but puts the first name in the last and the last in the first. I have my list sorted by Last name, First Name. Anyone know how I could fix this problem. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Are you sure? There's an option in preferences that allows you to display as either "Firstname Surname" or "Surname Firstname", and you can also choose to sort by either.



    If that's not the problem then does it go wrong for every name or just one in particular?

    no my preferences are set to last name, first....... I don't know why it does this..... hmmmm anyone want to try and see what happens for them.. thank you very much.
