Quicksilver G4 Speaker Options...

I hope this doesn't sound too obvious, but can any type of speakers be hooked up to a 867MHz Quicksilver G4? I was asking because I read somewhere in the specs that the speaker jack in the back of the computer was specially made for the Apple Pro Speakers. Thanks

    there is the pro speaker jack and a regular stereo miniplug... so anything that works with a headphone jack will work with the computer...



    that means every 2.1 or worse speaker system...



    or you could get a system that works with usb if you like...



    the bottom line is that you don't HAVE to use the pro speaker jack unless you want to buy them... (or an adapter to convert the jack into a powered speaker port... let me see if I can find the link)
