amazon just lowered 17" price! hmmmm.....

I bought my 17" from amazon.com last week for $3194, $100 cheaper than everywhere else. Yesterday they went and further lowered their price, to $3119! This must be a sign that an update is on the way. I'm super bummed, having just bought mine.

    Not necessarily indicative of an update... Amazon's running a sale on laptops in general, it just happens to extend to the Apple laptops as well. Not bad if you're looking for a discount on a laptop (I think they give free shipping on those as well)

    15" PB is 1919.99 ; 12" is 1529.99



    Pretty good deals if you are willing to live with soon to be old models.

    I'm waiting for the Rev.B 12-inch PowerBook, hopefully with 1Ghz+ PPC 7457 processor, more built-in and max RAM capacity, DVI-out, and maybe even L3 cache.
