    Of course they will contain a G5. I doubt that Apple will be redirecting their 1.4 GHz G4's to XServes. The only questions are price and configuration.

    If true, then Apple will not just upgrade but expand the server line. 1U servers are mighty appealing form.

    Is the server down? Is this perhaps a slightly mangled link that needs correcting? Just a tease for something that never existed?

    I have no intention of buying an Xserve. I've just had a feeling for a while that G5 Xserves might be introduced tomorrow at MWCP and I'm looking for any hints that might bear that out.

    That could be cool, but I thought MW Creative Pro was going to feature Music more or less. (maybe Logic, ProTools, and more) Which I guess is a good place to show Xserves, but I thought showing them running RenderMan side by side the with the PowerMac workstation in , or at 3D show was a better idea IMHO.
