PowerBook and KVM

I'd like to be able to switch my monitor, mouse and keyboard between my PC and a PowerBook I plan on acquiring in the near future. Is it possible to use a 12" PowerBook with a KVM? I currently have a USB mouse and I can get a USB adapter for my keyboard and my monitor is VGA. Are there any associated problems I should know about or does anyone have a good recommendation for a hopefully cheap KVM for two computers? (or more since I'll probably need more than two in the future as long as the price isn't too high).
