eMac Tilt and Swivel stand

Does anyone know how to get out that silver screw that the T&S stand goes into? I'm using the wrench that came with the stand, but I can't get anything to move. Please help.

    It's a Torx screw, right? Any self-respecting geek would have a set of those somewhere.

    Yeah as mentioned you have to use force...I had a wierd problem though, once fitted the machine kernel panicked all the time, only afdter removal would it work ok...

    I broke the one that was included because I twisted too hard.

    hrm... did you buy it with the computer or separately? directly from apple or through a reseller? Is this a big problem with the eMacs?

    I think its just a problem of the screw being tightened too tightly on the assembly line.



    a)I bought the stand with the eMac(I'm assuming you mean the stand)



    b)I bought the eMac and stand at the Apple Store in Walnut Creek



    c)I have no idea.
