Downloading Problems

i just got rid of speed download cause the whole unregistered thing was getting really annoying... now whenever i try to to download something the loading bar thing in safari goes but nothing downloads. i also tried EI and it did the same thing. i know it is probably obvious what i need to do but please help!!!!

    Open the prefs and check what folder it downloads files into.

    i fixed the problem.... i duont know y but i sould find the speeddownload plugins - alll i had to do is delete them
