If you are a member and have already requested the SDK and received your approval email, you may go directly to the download. Click the above URL, register as a developer, receive an approval, download the SDK, read TFM, code, sell it for $199.
Or:
create a faceless background app (which doesn't have a menu bar) and run it over Photoshop, Quark, etc. Quit it via Terminal. I hope this helps.
