CDROM XA Mode 2 Support in Panther?
Has anyone checked to see if Panther supports CDXA Mode 2 discs?
This was supported in OS 9, meaning you could play VideoCDs in QuickTime simply by directly opening the MPEG1 files.
In OS X, support for this filesystem is missing and the only way to read VCDs is to use raw disk access.
