anyone see that tonight? like five minutes ago?

during adult swim on cartoon network, their white-text-on-black-screen silent messages, they posted the following (Paraphrased, 'cause my memory ain't THAT good):

"Dear Steve Jobs,

Man, what is your deal?

We just bought brand new G4's last week, and then you have to go and introduce the G5s?

Seriously, it was like last week.

Thanks a lot.

Sincerely,

70-30 Productions (Sealab 2021)"

Heh heh, just caught that (God Bless TiVo)!

"Apple" wrote back. But I can't get it back (God Damn TiVo)!

They wrote something to the effect that they'd seen one of their "animations" (their quotes) judged adult swim didn't need a G5... or a G4 even. And they could have gotten it cheaper if they'd waited a week.

One could argue that reading rumour sites before doing major investments in Macs is a good way to save money. Buying any kind of hardware from Apple one week before a major Apple event is a big no-no! Every Mac news site around the world reported on the G5 rumors. Even non-Mac sites like c|net did. If you don't do thurough research before buying stuff like computers (stuff which is subject to large sudden price drops) you have no one to blame but yourself.

    Dear Henriok,

Thank you for choosing Apple products,

but, man, what is your deal?

    Can't you take a joke?

I didn't even write that letter.

The retards at 70-30 Productions did,

    and I have already dispatched

the Apple Legal Team? to sue them blind.

Chill out. Maybe get some sun or something.

    Regards,

    Steve Jobs

Well I figured that I should work on typing skills, EVEN if it is just the internet and not a document or anything. Plus I figured that somone who could come up with such a cool story about how they made their name should get some respect.

A while back they had another one that thanked the "Steves". It was very cool. I loved it.
