Open the image in new window to see it large. Kinda looks like Steve behind the guy in red.

The picture looks fake to me, but I don't know much about this stuff. Also, too many times I recall people listing zillions of reasons photos were fake, only to have them end up being real (e.g., the leaked PM G4 case pics).

One nice detail (assuming it is fake) - the little apple on the tv monitor - nice touch, if fake!

if you right/ctrl click the image and open in new window, you get a much larger image and it looks more real. on the apple logo, you can see the cables supporting it in the air, just as you can see the cables on the left video screen. the little anti-aliasing "fringes" that you can see on the smaller image are teh result of poor scaling done by a web browser and are non-existant on the larger image. and i must concur, that if this is a fake, the apple logo on the video screen is indeed a nice touch.

Also, if the info is correct, that probably would NOT be Steve in the picture (the source said he was speaking by sat).

Someone had to go to a lot of trouble to go to the show and take the photo to create this supposidly fake image.

Why would Steve Jobs tell Intel people the secrets behind Apple's marketing?

    It just wouldn't make sense for a large Apple logo to be displayed at an Intel conference. Unless OS X for x86 processors is released . . . YEAH RIGHT! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    edited for grammer and clarification.

So is it fake or not? I don´t quite get you.

Looking closer on the picture the round thing with the logo on it doesn´t look as fakey as it did before. But I don´t see the Apple logo on the screens. I see something semiround white on a dark bagground but it could be anything (left monitor, lower left corner)

It looks quite fake, and the guy in the background doesn't have an egg shaped head. He's got too much hair on top too.

That Apple logo looks like it was taken from the back of a PowerBook G4.

There is an apple logo on the small screen. ctr. click the image and download it to disk. Open it uo in preview and zoom in. In addition take a look at the monitor on stage. It looks like there is a plastic support like on the back of an Apple display.

Some of you kill me. It's not fake, and it could be about airport extreme or something else these 2 have in common. The guest speaker could be Fred or Phil, doesn't have to be Steve.

The post said at 5pm today, it's 9:19pm east coast so what was the news?

Nope. Actually, those edges make it more believeable as they are real for digital cameras and would be very hard to fake. They are also consistant with other areas of the photo.

Maybe it was. But it's definitely hanging there. Moreover, the screen on the monitor (with what looks like an Apple logo) is a typical Keynote presentation screen. Same background, four panel table with borders erased...

Am I starting to ring a bell here?

Hey, isn't that a Apple Studio Display (17"?) that the red-shirted guy is sitting in front of?

    But why isn't said conference listed <a href="http://www.lasvegastourism.com/conventions_january.htm"; target="_blank">here</a>?

If you look on one of the monitors ( the one in the middle bottom) You can see the Apple in it so if some one did fake it they took their time and went over every detail.. I doubt this is a fake. Either way What does this mean if it isnt a fake? Cause I have no idea...

Even if this isn't fake, Why on earth would Apple come to the Intel Sales and Marketing Show. For that matter why would any one go to the Intel Sales and Marketing Show?

If you look at the way the back lit screen blends in with the Apple circle along the bottom it looks fake. I'd think the real thing would have a sharp edge along the bottom.
