Microphone Question: Azden or Audio-Technica

I'm looking at getting either an Azden ECZ-990 or Audio-Technica ATR 55 to use with my Canon ZR 40. Both are priced similarly and are the same type of mics but I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with either one of them.
